For Guests Departing from Los Angeles (LAX)
Main Arrival Airport:
Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP)
Milan Malpensa (MXP) is the largest and most convenient international airport for flights from Los Angeles.
Direct and connecting flights are available from major airlines.
Approximate travel time to Lake Como: 1 hour 15 minutes by private transfer or car.
Alternative Airports:
- Milan Linate Airport (LIN): Closer to Milan city center, but mainly serves European flights.
- Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport (BGY): Primarily for low-cost airlines and European routes.
For Guests Departing from New York (JFK/EWR)
Main Arrival Airport:
Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP)
Direct flights from New York (JFK and Newark/EWR) to Milan Malpensa are available daily.
Malpensa offers the best access for international travelers and seamless onward travel to Lake Como.
Alternative Airports:
- Milan Linate Airport (LIN): Best for connecting flights through European hubs.
- Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport (BGY): Not recommended for direct US arrivals.

Taxi Service
Taxis are available at Malpensa. Fixed fares to Lake Como are available; however, booking a private transfer is recommended for comfort and reliability.
Train
Malpensa Express train to Milano Centrale (about 50 minutes), then transfer to a regional train toward Como San Giovanni station (about 40 minutes).
Ideal for guests who wish to explore Milan before heading to the lake.
From Milan Linate Airport (LIN) and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY)
Private Transfer
Luxury car services are available from both airports to Lake Como (approx. 1.5–2 hours travel time).
Advance booking is advised for a smooth experience.
Taxi
Taxis are available, but private transfers are recommended for longer distances.
Train
From Linate: Shuttle or taxi to Milano Centrale, then train to Como San Giovanni.
From Bergamo: Shuttle or taxi to Bergamo train station, then train to Como (with a change in Monza or Milan).
